Dog Grooming Parlour The Dog House was founded in 1958 by Wil v.d. Putten in Den Haag. Working in the extremely busy fashion world she decided it was not possible to carry on working after her marriage. So secretly she follwed the necessary courses at Sir Haaren in the Boreelstraat in Den Haag where she obtained her certificates in 1958. After 14 years of marriage she bought a large farm, which enabled her to start a modern grooming parlour with an official registered status. So after all those years it was a dream come true.
In 1994 her youngest daughter Mirjam v.d. Bosch took over the parlour by which time she had also obtained the necessary certificates. She was very well known in the show world because of the excellent competition results she had obtained.

Mirjam built a new parlour in the grounds of her boyfriend Hans van Beek’s house in Ellecom. It grew into a magnificent grooming parlour and met with all the requirements that were needed. There was not longer any inconvenience to the neighbours.
Her mother Wil, now aged 72 years, still grooms small dogs in the former parlour for customers who cannot come to the new parlour by car.
Mirjam makes extremely long hours grooming and there is a long waiting list of several months. No dog leaves her parlour without a perfect grooming and she treats every dog as if it were her own.
Mirjam works to the rules of the ABHB, an association that is specialised in grooming. Every day she works with great perfection just as if she was grooming for a competition. Her prices are very reasonable according to owners of her customers.
